Lately a massive burden has fallen upon me. This burden not only for the unborn within this nation and the injustice of it, but it’s something more than that. This something is the something that has caused me to question a lot of things. It has caused me to come back to reality and actually birthed in me a massive great awakening of my warrior spirit. This thing that I am speaking of consists of the Urgency of the hour as well as the End of the Age. But to delve even deeper into what really has been burdening me is a desire for the Knowledge of the Holy, and a manifestation of the Holy Spirit. Beloved we need the Holy Spirit! We need to ask Abba to send his spirit! This is something that is so often ignored. God is wanting to bring a fresh appearance within this age. But God is not going to do this unless we cry out that God would come and would send His Spirit. Beloved when he comes massive things happen. He convicts, he teaches, he rebukes, and he declares prophetically. The issue that we need to be concerned with is when He comes. Keyword; When. This is more important than anything else. We need the Helper, the Counselor. We are nothing without him. God was very clear in his promise. We need to ask for his promises to be revealed. Because if we do not, we will see not. We so often demand signs and wonders yet we forget how they come about. Through the power of prayer and the Holy Spirit conjunctively. John 14: 25-27
25″These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. 26But the(AZ) Helper, the Holy Spirit,(BA) whom the Father will send in my name,(BB) he will teach you all things and(BC) bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. 27(BD) Peace I leave with you;(BE) my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you.(BF) Let not your hearts be troubled, neither(BG) let them be afraid.
So beloved my real burden is this; I don’t think that people realize that when you get God the Spirit, the Holy Spirit you get it all. This generation is contending for the promise but it will not become a reality unless we have the Holy Spirit! We need to ask for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. In Joel God is clear that he will pour out his spirit so that His sons and daughters may prophesy. We need the Holy Spirit because without Him we are lost. We are nothing. We have no direction. Without the Holy Spirit we are fulfilling what is talked about in Psalm 13. We are sleeping the sleep of death. We are producing nothing. We are seeking God and yielding nothing because we are not seeking what is true. We are not seeking after the promises of God to be revealed through the Holy Spirit which pours out the Spirit of Knowledge. If the spirit doesn’t come, (and I’m not talking about just during worship or our little prayer meetings) I’m talking if a true branded anointing of the Holy Spirit is not upon and in our hearts nothing results. I’m not talking about just a little salt of the Spirit in one meeting. I’m talking about an outpouring of the Spirit in lives that radically changes who we are in God. The Holy Spirit isn’t just some man. And the power of the Holy Spirit should not just excite you, you should realize the power of the Spirit. Because even Jesus had the Holy Spirit. If you look closely back at the John 14 passage it says
10Do you not believe that(R) I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you(S) I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works.
Yes beloved, you just read it. Not even Jesus was too good for the Holy Spirit. Even he needed discernment from the Father. And the Holy Spirit is powerful. I think also often times we forget who spent literal physical time with this Spirit. The 12 apostles spent 40 days getting radical, massive, prophetic teaching from the Holy Spirit. And this was and is the resurrected Holy Spirit. He is alive today! The Gospels are actual manifestations and birthings that came out of this powerful teaching. And because we are in the New Testament age and we are either building our foundation upon what Matthew 7 talks about rock or sand, we need to build our foundations, our theologies upon the Holy Spirit. We need to take this Spirit and put it into our own lives. We need to contend for this. It’s not about how many “eloquent sermons” or how many words we can get out. It’s the reality of fulfilling that in which is spoken of in Exodus 33:21-23
21And the LORD said, “Behold, there is a place by me where you shall stand on the rock, 22and while my glory passes by I will put you in a(F) cleft of the rock, and I will(G) cover you with my hand until I have passed by. 23Then I will take away my hand, and you shall see my back, but my face shall(H) not be seen.”
We need to be led by the Spirit and nothing less. We need to ask God to reveal his Spirit. And we need to accept it by faith. As you can see that is what God was telling Moses he needed to do. Moses needed to let God lead him by His spirit and have faith that no matter what. Because beloved we are being prepared to cross a threshold where everything changes and our little realities are about to be shaken…
